🧿 I established The Balanced Scales in 2018. We meet. We laugh.

TBS is a safe haven where I can share my learnings, experiences, art and offerings to my community. TBS is a place for others to gather- connect, collaborate, and grow. A decision to share with the world on a broader scale, my passions, my practice, my level ups & downs. A large part of my purpose is seeking & guiding. The Scales is a big part of me. �
We all offer our individual essence, which impacts our environments- my goal is to enhance this essence together. Through my own experience I have been called to provide personal testimony, nourishment & practice to the lives of others. This way of life is not new, but not old... One passed on, passing on - to be passed. The hollow bone I become is designed by spirit and is offered as a safe space to integrate, heal, seek and provide. We go- Treading light, but connected in each step. This year my focus is Acknowledging & Respecting these practices & myself. TBS has allowed me to come forth at my own pace. One day at a time, we gather. Creative I become, Empowered by Empowering others. My purpose is wide- uncontainable. My soul thrives on sacredness within discovery, research, practice, expansion, depth & vision...
The Balanced Scales is where I come Home. Here we continue healing. We cry. We make love. We share love. We are L O V E. There is no wrong course, without judgement we see. With no regrets, and open minds & hearts I welcome you gently.

Sometimes idk where I am going but I know it's accompanied by our life giving planet 🌎 👣
Lately, lifes been spacious and present. Highs and lows and all the feelings in between of hope and also a lil fear 🫣 ✨️
I've been out of the studio for about 6 months and meeting with clients very seldomly via phone, video and letter writing.
It doesn't feel bad. It feels different but wholesome.
It feels like something new.
I've had to 360 my life this past year and I am starting to feel the shift in my spirit and body.
Alot of patterns and habits are ingrained in the mundane and how I react and act in my daily life- which then is instilled in my more deep lifes work. It's all a part of it 🌀🌀🌀
I am learning how to be kinder to myself, how to be a better listener and observer and not take things so seriously.
I am missing out by worrying and attaching a feeling that isn't pleasant, instead of allowing it to pass ☁️ 😶‍🌫️ 🌤
I guess this is just a check-in and balance of my own scales and offering support for yours ⚖️ ❤️
I am looking fwd to the remainder of and seeing where I go from here. is a must, esp outdoors where nature and nurture fuel my soul. is a practice that does not judge, that does not rush- trust the process

Reflect 〰 Replenish 〰 Be Playful
The shift in our northern wheel welcomes the warm embrace of Summer. This season to me embodies the Youth, the Nourishment of crops and the needs of our tender Bodies. A time to pause & reflect, and refine a more sacred walk.
Summertime is a season of celebration, recognition, community engagement, loving joy, moonbeams to wander with, a time less thought of~ a time more felt. Action unites with moments of stillness- generating a watering of dedication to all that is alive, all that is the Earth, all that is love.
The shift requires patience and fine tuning in a playful manner. Where we meet resistance with kindness...The season is a haven of hope. Nourishment of the seeds who produced~ and acknowledgement of the woven ones in their dying form -the ones who journeyed sooner 🌱
This season to me I sweat a lil' more for the ceremonies of life, I sleep harder for the days work is nourishing, and I soak deep into the rays & waters of Summer ☀
May we also hold space within the times of rest, for those on the Southern Earth, where this time of darkness for them creates loving changes 🌎

Truly, this share felt like a lump in my throat for almost a year. Maybe if I didn't admit it, it wouldn't come to be true?
Oh the avoidance, oh the ignorance. Oh the denial that I was a co-creator in the detriment of my own body.
Lupus, is not the enemy here. An overactive heart is not the enemy here. The enemy is stress. The enemy is the lack of trust I had in my own body. The enemy is giving too much and giving up.
My antidote is care. Conscious and aware.
Feeling it all- every part. And letting S**T go.

Water is the lifeblood of our Mother Earth. It's not just a 'resource,' but a sacred relative.

It is life itself: Every living thing, from the smallest plant to the grandest creature, is born of and sustained by water. It is the first medicine.

It feeds us: Our crops, our gardens, the wild foods – they all drink from the same waters we do. This is a shared gift.

It carries our stories: The rivers, the lakes, the oceans – they hold the memories of our ancestors, the songs of our people. They are the veins of the Earth.

It cleanses and heals: Water purifies the air we breathe and the lands we walk. It is a vital part of the balance, the circle of life.

It is a precious gift: We must honor and protect every drop. We cannot take more than we give back, for what we do to the water, we do to ourselves. We are all related.
