St. Joseph's Adult Care Home Adult Care Home Located on our beautiful and peaceful property in Sloatsburg, NY, St. St. It is not a nursing home. Some keep their automobile here.

Joseph’s is a warm, friendly, and safe home for seniors who need assistance. Joseph’s is a short or long-term residential care facility that is designed for elderly adults who are ambulatory and largely able to care for themselves. We provide a family-like atmosphere and treat every resident with the respect and honor befitting their dignity as a person. We motivate residents to be active and encourage them to maintain their independence while living in a group residential environment. In nice weather, residents can sit outside or walk around our grounds. Admissions are based on the suitability of the person for residence and are made without regard to race, s*x, or faith. The community of St. Joseph’s Adult Care Home joyfully celebrated its patronal feast with a spirit of gratitude and unity. The Divine Liturgy was solemnly celebrated by Bishop Paul Chomnycky, OSBM, with Msgr. John Terlecky concelebrating, drawing all present into a prayerful and grace-filled encounter.

The celebration was especially enriched by the presence of our Superior General, Sr. Sofija Lebedowicz, and General Councillor, Sr. Petra Sichakova, whose visit brought a deep sense of communion with our wider Congregation.

Lay associates, residents, staff, and friends gathered together, forming a vibrant community of faith, giving thanks to God for the gift of St. Joseph’s loving protection and intercession.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Bohdan Tymchyshyn, Rector of St. Basil College, Fr. Raphael, and the Seminarians for the beautiful celebration of the Pre-Sanctified Liturgy this past Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Home. Their prayerful presence, reverence, and dedication enriched our Lenten journey and brought great spiritual comfort and joy to all who participated. May God bless them abundantly for their service and generosity in sharing this sacred time with our community.

With grateful hearts, we extend our deepest thanks to everyone who helped make our Tricky Tray fundraiser yesterday such a joyful and successful event. The day was truly a beautiful expression of community, generosity, and friendship.

We are sincerely grateful to all who donated prizes or donations towards the event, to the many volunteers who generously gave their time and energy in planning, organizing, and preparing for the event, and to everyone who attended and supported us. Your kindness, enthusiasm, and willingness to help created a wonderful atmosphere and made the day both memorable and meaningful.
