St. Joseph's Adult Care Home

Adult Care Home Located on our beautiful and peaceful property in Sloatsburg, NY, St. St. It is not a nursing home. Some keep their automobile here.

Joseph’s is a warm, friendly, and safe home for seniors who need assistance. Joseph’s is a short or long-term residential care facility that is designed for elderly adults who are ambulatory and largely able to care for themselves. We provide a family-like atmosphere and treat every resident with the respect and honor befitting their dignity as a person. We motivate residents to be active and encourage them to maintain their independence while living in a group residential environment. In nice weather, residents can sit outside or walk around our grounds. Admissions are based on the suitability of the person for residence and are made without regard to race, s*x, or faith. The blessings of the 71st Holy Dormition Pilgrimage continued the following day, Monday, August 11 2025 for the Sisters Servants and Residents of St. Joseph’s Home.

The youngest ordained priest of the Archeparchy of Philadelphia Reverend Bohdan Vasyliv and his wife Ola celebrated the Divine Liturgy in our St. Joseph’s chapel. Concluding the Divine Liturgy, Father Bohdan gave his priestly blessing to everyone in attendance reminding them that he has been ordained for eight months and is from St. Michael the Archangel Church in Shenandoah, PA., the oldest Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Father Bohdan’s first pilgrimage experience in Sloatsburg was to celebrate the afternoon Moleben to the Mother of God. May this be only the first of many more experiences of being in Sloatsburg with the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate.
