About three hunded people attended the annual renuion of the England family. This family has been in this area over 100 years and now there are supposed to be as many as 5000 members of the family in the section. One hundred years ago they were all farmers, now, nearly all work in the coal mines. Hensley Hollow, McDowell County, West Virginia.

When the Italian marble statue and grave-marker of William Anderson “Devil Anse” Hatfield was set in place, several sons carried their mother, Louvicey (Levicy) Hatfield along with a wooden chair to the family graveyard, as she was no longer unable to climb the hill to the Hatfield Cemetery on her own. She was the widow of Devil Anse, outdoorsman, feudist, and Civil War veteran.

The old cemetery is located at Sarah Ann, Logan County, West Virginia.
