I feel nothing but honored and grateful today. I initially reached out to do a chair massage day at Cache Coffee because they are very veteran focused and it felt like the best way I could give back to the community on what is a heavy day each year. But I feel even more honored and grateful to have been able to share their space after recent events. Waking up after so much devastation and loss constantly in our newsfeed shouldn’t be our norm. Watching people come in literally carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders today, inviting them to my chair, bringing them back to themselves for a moment, and helping lift even just a bit of that weight is why I chose to do what I do. Thank you to the new people I got to connect with for trusting me. Thank you Jamie and Mindy for allowing me into your space. Let’s add more love, more safety, more understanding, more connection to this world and less division.
