I want to share why I stepped back this week.
We recently said goodbye to Phoenix, our 14-year-old cat. 🤍
Phoenix was so much more than a pet. He had been by Lexi’s side since she was 2 years old, and during some of the hardest seasons of her life—especially while she was going through cancer—he was her comfort. He never left her side. He was quiet strength, constant love, and safety when everything felt uncertain.
Losing him has been incredibly painful, especially knowing how much he meant to her and to our entire family. Grief doesn’t follow a schedule, and we needed to pause and be present with it.
These photos hold pieces of a love that will never fade. Thank you for your patience, grace, and understanding as we take this time to heal.
Phoenix, you were deeply loved and will always be part of our story. 🤍
