You went up to see your dad in Logan this weekend. Or your mom in Layton. Or you stopped by Cottonwood Heights after work.
And something felt off.
Maybe it was the pile of unopened mail on the counter. The same shirt he wore last Sunday. The fridge with three condiments and a half-loaf of bread. The bruise on her arm, she couldn't explain. The way she said "I'm fine, honey" β twice, in the same sentence.
