This is a question I get asked frequently, if you're curious see which category you fall into below!
Relaxation-
If you are looking for a relaxation massage: as often as you like/ can afford. Some people come once a week, some come once every 6 months.
Pain-
If you have pain and are looking for alternative healing: once a week or more for the first couple of weeks and then let's re-assess. If your pain goes away after the first few sessions then maintenance massages would be best!
Maintenance-
If you're someone with an injury that flares up once in a while then coming once a month would be the best. People who get stiff/tight/sore muscles also benefit from bi-weekly or monthly massages.
