Dear Patients,

We are pleased to welcome Morgan Arrington, PA‑C, to Family Medical Care of Smithfield. Raised in Corapeake, North Carolina, Morgan brings an exceptional academic background and a strong commitment to patient‑centered care. A standout student throughout her education, she graduated as the Valedictorian of Gates County High School, went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and was recognized multiple times on the UNC Dean’s List. She later completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Bethel University in Paris, Tennessee. During her academic journey, she was also honored as a Mark R. Braswell Scholarship recipient and selected as a Science Enrichment Preparation (SEP) Program Scholar. She is board certified by the NCCPA.

Morgan is known for her compassionate approach, clear communication, and dedication to partnering with patients in their care. She listens attentively, values patient input, and strives to create a supportive and collaborative experience at every visit. We are confident she will be an outstanding addition to our team.

Beginning Friday, January 2, 2026, Morgan will assume the schedule previously held by Donna Smith, NP. Any upcoming appointments scheduled with Donna Smith will automatically transition to Morgan Arrington, PA‑C. To schedule a new appointment, please call 757‑357‑3331 (option 1).
