You had little — but it felt like everything.
And at the same time… nothing at all.

That’s the magic of racing. You don’t buy it. You live it.

🗣️ “At the end of the day, it feels like people don’t truly care about the riders in these situations—or don’t even try to understand what we’re going through. Honestly, sometimes it seems like the medical team and track crew would need to experience it themselves just to know how to handle it properly.

There are way too many moments like this where mistakes are made—simple things, like checking on the rider first, asking ‘are you okay?’ before trying to pull him out of the bike with a clearly injured leg.

But hey… feels like no one really cares about us riders.”

“I was extremely proud to hold the all-time win record in 1989—it meant everything to me during that time. But as the years go on, you realize it’s about being part of something bigger. To now be mentioned alongside the top 10 guys in Supercross history truly means the world to me.

I want to take a moment to congratulate Ken Roczen for tying—and soon surpassing—my record. That’s no small feat. It takes heart, resilience, and a level of dedication most people will never understand. Records are meant to be broken, but that doesn’t make it any easier to watch them go.

At the end of the day, though, respect comes first. Ken, you’ve earned this. Congratulations on an incredible career so far—and the truth is, you’re not even done yet.”
