Live from Brookdale Smithfield! Today we were able to host a live podcast right here at Brookdale Smithfield! The topic of the podcast was: "A Day in the Life of Assisted Living." Residents were able to enjoy a light snack while watching and listening. One resident even participated in the podcast and shared her perspective regarding her experience in our assisted living community. We here at Brookdale Smithfield also love to involve our families, so they were cordially invited to partake in the photos as well! Thank you to our volunteer photographer Brittany Overby for providing her services and talent as well. Now we wait with anticipation for the professional shots to come back soon!

Yum..yum..yum. What's better than the sweet taste of watermelon? Our watermelon gathering was a "sweet success!" 😜 Watermelon, watermelon cookies, and watermelon punch were enjoyed by all!

Happy Father's Day! Or better yet... let's celebrate all the men out there! That's what we did! S'mores, anyone? Residents were asking for seconds; they were so delicious and gooey! We also celebrated by adding some laughter (Father's Day jokes) and some wonderful gifts for all the men!
