The Orlin & Cohen Sports Medicine staff is busy keeping Long Island Football players healthy, while performing for college coaches at the annual Coaches Association Combine / Showcases. We are proud to be selected by the coaches associations to watch over the hundreds of players participating, representing most of Long Islands High School teams. Working with our Athletic Trainers, Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group Ortho - Sports Docs, James Paci, Julian J. Sonnenfeld, Alex Rothfeld, Jeffrey Mait, and Ryan Krochak in attendance.

Still smiling after 2 tournaments and 36 hours at the MVP Arena.
The official NYSPHSAA Wrestling Championships physicians ( girls and boys ) Dr Alex Rothfeld, Dr Tony Donatelli and Glenn Donatelli, NP took a moment before tonight’s finals. It was a very busy few days for the trio, who are all ex wrestlers. The wrestlers from around NY State were in very capable hands. — at MVP Arena.

Case of a 31 year old male that highlights the importance of looking closely at MRI images.

He was seen by 2 other orthopedists who recommended PT. MRI report read as normal other than osteoarthritis.

On MRI images there was a 15mm loose body in his anterior knee causing a 15 degree loss of extension.

It was surgically removed and he is back to activities with full motion.

At the NYSPHSAA WRESTLING CHAMPIONS this weekend, The medical staff was Directed by Dr Anthony Donatelli and Dr Alex Rothfeld, Orlin & Cohen Orthopedic Group sports doc. Glenn Donatelli NP assisted the duo. All three have significant wrestling histories and a love for the sport.
