On Monday afternoon, our residents gathered for a meaningful Religious Education Program led by Stuart Markus. Through music and lecture, Stuart shared the traditions and significance of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. ๐๐ฏ๐ถ
Residents not only learned about the high holiday but also tasted symbolic foods, including challah bread, apples dipped in honey, honey cake, and grape juice, each one representing sweetness and hope for the year ahead.
It was a time of reflection, learning, and togetherness. From all of us, LโShana Tova, may this new year bring health, happiness, and peace. ๐
