St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, in partnership with the Fourth Precinct, proudly hosted its annual “Shop with a Cop” program at Target (12.12.25) and Walmart (12.15.25). A total of 40 children enjoyed this special holiday event, shopping alongside local law enforcement officers to select gifts, clothing, toys and everyday necessities.

The goal of the "Shop with a Cop" program is to spread holiday cheer, while building positive relationships between youth, police/community safety partners, creating lasting memories and strengthening bonds of trust with officers. Through grants obtained by St. Catherine’s, Target and Walmart, each child was given $100 to shop for gifts for themselves and families at Target and Walmart.

This program is truly one of our most favorite events of the entire year! The joy and community spirit it brings to children and police officers, make it incredibly meaningful and impactful.

While we focus on breast cancer awareness during October, it is something to highlight all year round as a reminder to get your annual mammogram and breast ultrasound if you have dense breasts.
