Our Adopt a Grandparent initiative was a wonderful success. We extend our sincere thanks to Robin and her family for the thoughtful final gifts shared with our seniors.

Rob was so grateful of the gifts he received , and Freda,who proudly shared that she is 103 years old—delighted us with her love of Oreos and her heartfelt question: “Why would someone do all this for me?” The answer is simple, it is the season of giving, and moments like these remind us of the true spirit of kindness and community.

Rachel’s Kids Daycare visited the community and sang their little hearts out for the seniors! 🎶✨ The children performed cheerful Christmas songs along with the always-popular ABC song, filling the room with smiles and laughter. Two of our residents were delighted to receive visits through the Adopt a Grandparent for the Holidays program, and the excitement was truly heartwarming. A special thank you to Jordan and her grandmother for surprising Ms. Mary. Although Jordan was a bit shy, she was clearly excited to help make Ms. Mary’s day special. We also extend our gratitude to Kristin for bringing joy to Maria, a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, her thoughtful gift truly made Maria’s day. Finally, thank you to Robin for stopping by the community and expressing interest in participating in the Adopt a Grandparent program with us.
