While feeling angry signals a problem, venting anger doesn’t solve it. It’s easy to get stuck in endless cycles of fighting, complaining and blaming that go nowhere, or even make things worse. We use anger effectively only when we learn to observe and change our own steps in the dance that’s keeping us stuck, and give up our nonproductive efforts to change or fix that other person who doesn’t want to change.

We often don't realize we can say "no" to toxic people, and choose how much (or how little) we will interact with them. When it is a spouse, and you have children, there are many things that make leaving hard. Also, the people in your life often don't support your decision to leave. Sometimes, churches are the worst. It's been rough on our kids

Mental health has taken a toll on many students and staff alike. One Ohio school district will welcome back students with more counselors and social workers on hand.
