Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Dr. Andrea Sheffield is a licensed therapist in the states of Tennessee and Georgia.

Andrea provides individual and marriage counseling, as well as assistance to those experiencing difficulty with family dynamics, depression and anxiety. Andrea is a Board member of the Nashville Association of Christian Counselors, and a member of The American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She is certified in the PREPARE/ENRICH pre-marital assessment and is a listed Rule 31 Mediator. Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna insurance accepted.

✨ 15 Years of Gratitude ✨

Today I pause with a full heart to celebrate 15 years since opening my counseling practice. What began as a vision rooted in healing, hope, and service has grown into a journey filled with resilience, learning, and profound connection.

I am deeply grateful to every client who trusted me with their story, every colleague and referral partner who believed in the work, and every moment that reaffirmed why this calling matters. Bearing witness to growth, restoration, and courage has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

This milestone is not just about time—it’s about impact, perseverance, and the sacred work of supporting mental and emotional wellness. Thank you to my community for walking alongside me over the years. I look forward to continuing this work with purpose, compassion, and gratitude for many years to come.

Today I got the opportunity to participate in the Jere Baxter Middle School ESTEAM (entrepreneurship, science, technology, engineering, art and math) Career Day! I talked with the students on how to become a therapist and they created a board of coping skills 🥰
