In honor of Women’s History month, here’s my story: * Pregnant at 17
* Struggled through Nursing School
* Was told to switch careers because I couldn’t pass the entrance exam.
* Slowly climbed the medical ladder.
* Suffered from text anxiety…undiagnosed for years.
* Multiple attempts to pass boards (text anxiety)
* Spent over 20 years in Corporate America where I was denied promotions, pay raises and opportunities to grow.
* Went from CNA to ADN to BSN to MSN-Ed to CNL-C, to NP-BC to a successful Black Owned Business Woman who owns and operates Morgan Medical Associates. A direct primary care office located in Marietta, Ga with a primary focus to improve access to healthcare, diversity, equality, and health literacy.
Moral of this post is to always believe in yourself. Never bury your dreams. Work hard, stay prayerful and trust the process. HIS No really mean not right now my child. People will come and go, but always stay true to yourself.

To my sister, stay focused. This is OUR season for grace and favor. This is our season!!!Today I celebrate me. Today I celebrate you! Today I celebrate us!
