Kirk Family Practice is pleased to announce that we are starting an IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback (IASIS MCN) program. IASIS MCN is not a medical treatment but rather the retraining of the brain and nervous system. This is an in-office procedure that is completely painless and takes only a few minutes to complete. Each session involves attaching several small electrodes wires to various places on your scalp and then providing extremely small amounts of energy to the brain. If you think of your brain as a computer, the micro currents of electricity help to “reboot” the brain. We have a few updates we want to make our patients aware of...

It is with mixed emotions that we are letting our patients know that
Ellen Wilson NP is leaving Kirk Family Practice. She is moving to Mississippi after the birth of her 3rd child. Her last day will be May 26th. While we are so sad to see her go, we are also excited for her to start the next chapter of her life with her new baby and family in Mississippi. We have enjoyed having her as an integral part of our practice and wish her all the best for the future.

While we could never replace Ellen, we do have two new (to us) providers starting. Please help Dr. Kirk, Denise Lano PA-C and our staff Welcome Jennifer and Tim to our practice.

Jennifer Hardt Burchard FNP

Jennifer is a Delaware native. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Delaware in 2003 and her Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2009 from Wilmington University. She has board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and specialty certification as an Advanced-practice AIDS Care Nurse, and has worked in many areas of the healthcare field including surgery, trauma, geriatrics, infectious disease, and family medicine. She is married with two children and rescue dog. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages, providing education about the body and medical therapeutics, and partnering with patients to optimize their health and wellness across the lifespan.

Timothy Dolan PA-C

Hi! I’m Tim Dolan and I’ve been a physician assistant for 11 years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University (We Are!) in 2010 and with a master’s degree from Lock Haven University’s physician assistant program in 2012. I’ve worked in family and internal medicine for the majority of my career. My wife, daughter (7), son (4) and I moved to Delaware from central Pennsylvania 4 years ago to be closer to family. In my free time, I like to ski, read, play music and spend time with my family. I look forward to getting to know everyone and I hope to be a valuable resource in your healthcare!
