Our team of specialists, general dentists, assistants, and benefit coordinators are dedicated to making your dental care rewarding, so you'll have a reason to share your smile! Meet Dr. Maggie Pitts, DMD
Dr. Maggie Pitts grew up in a suburb just north of Birmingham, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Samford University and her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. After school, Dr. Pitts moved to Tennessee in 2014, practicing in Franklin for one year before spending the last two years here in Smyrna. She now lives in Nashville with her husband, Dr. Adam Pitts and their “dog”ter Mollie. In her free time, Maggie enjoys running, cooking, going to concerts, and traveling. Pitts grew up in Sapulpa, OK and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and a Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship and an oral & maxillofacial surgery residency from 2004-2010. Upon completion of his training at Vanderbilt, Dr. Pitts was selected to one of only a handful of accredited fellowships in facial cosmetic surgery. Meet Dr. Kayla Carr, Orthodontics
Dr. Kayla Carr is originally from Bardstown, KY. and attended dental school at the University of Louisville. Dr. Carr decided to dedicate herself entirely to the specialty of orthodontics and underwent an additional two years of orthodontic training. Her friendly and personable demeanor helps both children and adult patients feel comfortable and excited about their new, straight smile!
