Hurricane Melissa has left many communities in Jamaica struggling β hereβs how Mission Life Georgia is stepping in, and how you can help.
Standing with Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa π―π²
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has reached out with concern and support following Hurricane Melissa and its devastating impact on Jamaica. Your compassion has meant a great deal to me, my family, our Mission Life Georgia team, and the communities we serve.
Thankfully, my family and most of our team members are safe, though travel and communication remain challenging. Some of our friends have lost everything β homes, belongings, and livelihoods β yet they continue to show remarkable strength and faith in the face of loss.
The communities of Lorimers (Trelawny) and Castle Hyde (Hanover) have been especially hard hit, with widespread flooding, damaged infrastructure, and significant agricultural losses.
Mission Life Georgia is coordinating relief efforts, sending supplies and financial assistance next week, and preparing a Chiropractic mission trip to provide care and support on the ground.
We are grateful to Delta Sigma Chi Fraternity, our patients, and Harbour Oaks Montessori for partnering with us in this effort.
If you or your organization would like to help, please consider:
