We’re excited for the opportunity to help meet the growing needs for high-quality inpatient rehabilitative care at our downtown Nashville location!

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is pleased to announce that it received approval from the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission to establish a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit at the 741-bed hospital in downtown Nashville. The approval was granted on Oct. 22 following a Certificate of Need hearing.

“We are excited to be able to offer this new service to our patients who trust us for their care in their most critical moments,” said Ryan LeMasters, chief operating officer at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. “With this new unit, patients will be able to remain at TriStar Centennial for inpatient rehabilitation services and continue their care journey amongst the care team and physicians they have come to know and trust.”

The TriStar Centennial Inpatient rehabilitation unit is planned to open in 2027 on the fourth floor of the Sarah Cannon building located at 2410 Patterson Street in Nashville, Tenn.

After a devastating side-by-side UTV crash, Bo Bryant is determined to keep others safe by sharing his story and encouraging seatbelt use, helmet use and responsible driving.

A grain farmer in Adams, Tennessee, Bo reached to change the music while driving his UTV when he veered off the road, flipping multiple times. After the emergency team at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center stabilized Bo, he was transferred to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, for continued critical care.

There, trauma specialists performed lifesaving treatment. Bo suffered a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the chest down, among other serious injuries. He spent 17 days in the ICU, underwent multiple procedures and began early rehabilitation.

Bo emphasizes that ATVs and UTVs are not toys. His story is a poignant reminder that one choice can change your life in an instant and that expert trauma care and compassionate support can make all the difference.

Help us by dropping off your unused or expired medications on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Today In Nashville spoke with Dr. Jeffrey Hodrick from Southern Joint Replacement Institute about the importance of Crush the Crisis, a prescription drug take back event that he helped create in 2017. Today, Crush the Crisis events are hosted at HCA Healthcare hospitals across the nation in partnership with local law enforcement agencies, providing a safe and anonymous way to dispose of medications that may be left over from previous procedures or other medical visits.

Together, we can help reverse the trend of prescription drug misuse.

Digging deep for hope 🎀

At just 43, Deborah’s life was turned upside down when a routine mammogram at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital revealed tiny calcium deposits in her breast tissue. Following an ultrasound and biopsy, tests confirmed the worst: she had breast cancer. The diagnosis was hard to process, but thanks to early detection and expert oncology care from the HCA Healthcare Sarah Cannon Network, her cancer was treatable.

Now cancer-free, Deborah is an advocate for early detection and uses her story to help others find the right place for treatment and support in their journey.

“I have a loud voice, but I love using that voice as support for other people,” she says.

This , we share her story as a reminder that mammograms matter, and hope is powerful.
