Castor oil packs may be helpful in supporting wellness in several ways:

• Encourages relaxation and helps calm the nervous system
• Supports healthy circulation
• May assist lymphatic flow and natural detox pathways
• Can help ease occasional bloating or sluggish digestion
• Supports regular bowel movements for some people
• May help soothe menstrual discomfort or abdominal tension
• Can promote restful sleep when used as part of an evening routine
• Helps create a grounding self-care ritual that reduces stress
• May support liver and digestive wellness indirectly through relaxation and circulation
• Can help soften skin and nourish dry areas when used topically

Consistency often matters more than intensity with gentle wellness tools like this.

There’s something powerful about standing near a waterfall—it’s not just beautiful, it’s deeply healing.

Waterfalls naturally release negative ions, which have been shown to support mood, reduce stress, and help calm the nervous system. The sound of rushing water, the fresh air, and the grounding energy of nature all work together to shift your body out of “fight or flight” and into a more relaxed, restorative state.

From a detox perspective, this matters more than most people realize. When your nervous system is calm, your body can better support digestion, circulation, and natural detox pathways. Add in gentle movement like hiking, deeper breathing, and hydration, and you’re giving your body exactly what it needs to release and reset.

Sometimes the most powerful “detox” isn’t a supplement—it’s stepping outside, slowing down, and letting nature do its work.

When was the last time you chased a waterfall?

Detox isn’t where you start—it’s where your body finishes. 🌿

Supporting your gut first is what makes everything else actually work. When your digestion is moving well and your gut lining is strong, your body can eliminate efficiently instead of recirculating what it’s trying to clear.

Think of it as creating the exit pathway before turning on detox support. When the foundations are in place, the body can do what it’s designed to do—smoothly and effectively.

Small, consistent habits like fiber, hydration, and microbiome support truly make the difference.

One of the simplest upgrades I recommend is adding electrolytes to your water 💧

Hydration isn’t just about how much water you drink—it’s about how well your body can use it. Without the right balance of minerals like sodium, potassium, and magnesium, water can pass right through you without fully nourishing your cells.

This becomes especially important when you’re detoxing. As the body mobilizes and eliminates toxins, it also uses and loses key minerals in the process. Replenishing electrolytes helps support this process so your body can stay balanced, energized, and supported—rather than depleted.

I often see clients feel a noticeable difference—more steady energy, fewer headaches, and better overall balance—just from this one small shift.

It’s one of my favorite daily habits for supporting the body at a foundational level 🤍

If you want a link to my favorite electrolytes (clinically studied + ones I personally trust), message me directly and I’ll send them your way 💬

One of my favorite (and most overlooked) ways to support detox is simple—get outside and move your body.

Hiking is a powerful way to help mobilize toxins by increasing circulation, supporting lymphatic flow, and encouraging deeper breathing—all of which help your body do what it’s naturally designed to do. Add in fresh air, sunlight, and time in nature, and it becomes so much more than just exercise.

Detox doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it looks like stepping outside, moving your body, and letting nature do its part.

When was the last time you got outside and moved your body? 🌿

As a holistic nutritionist, I’m often asked—what’s your go-to for detox support?

Here’s the truth: your body is already designed to detox beautifully… it just needs the right support 🌿

✨ My favorite daily detox support:
• A high-quality binder like activated charcoal or a gentle herbal blend (used intentionally—not daily forever)
• Mineral-rich hydration to support cellular function and drainage

🥬 And the real star? FOOD.
I always come back to:
• Dark leafy greens like spinach, kale, and arugula
• Cruciferous veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts
• Fresh herbs like cilantro and parsley

These foods naturally support liver pathways, help the body process toxins, and provide the nutrients your system actually needs to do its job.

💚 Simple tip: Add a handful of greens to your smoothie or build a fresh, vibrant salad—especially as we move into spring and summer.

Detox isn’t about restriction—it’s about nourishment, flow, and supporting your body the way it was designed.

Your body is designed to detox every single day—your liver, kidneys, and digestive system are always working to keep things in balance. The real question is: are you giving your body the support it needs?

Whole, nutrient-dense foods can make a powerful difference. **Greens are one of the best ways to support natural detoxification**, helping to nourish liver function and support healthy elimination. Think leafy greens, cruciferous vegetables, antioxidant-rich berries, and plenty of clean water to keep everything flowing.

A simple way to start? Add spinach or kale into your smoothies, and as spring and summer approach, build fresh, vibrant salads or incorporate more cruciferous veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts into your meals.

Detox isn’t about extremes or quick fixes—it’s about consistently nourishing your body so it can do what it was designed to do.

What’s one food you can add in this week to support your body naturally? 🌿

🌿The feminine urge to detox in the spring 🌿

There’s something about this season that calls us to reset… to open the windows, clear the clutter, and lighten the load — not just in our homes, but in our bodies too.

While we often think of detox as food-based, one of the most powerful (and overlooked) ways to support your health is by reducing **hidden toxins in your everyday environment**.

Think:
• cleaning products
• skincare + beauty
• candles + fragrances
• plastics + food storage

These small, daily exposures can add up — impacting hormones, gut health, and overall vitality.

The good news? You don’t have to do it all at once.

My friend Tanea is amazing at helping you simplify this process. She takes the overwhelm out of going low-tox and makes it feel doable, practical, and aligned with real life.

Spring is the perfect time to gently swap, simplify, and support your body from the outside in 🌱

Less toxins. More nourishment. More energy.

That’s the kind of detox I love. 💚

Benefits of Bone Broth for Gut & Whole-Body Health

Bone broth is a nutrient-dense, healing elixir that supports:

1. Gut Repair – Rich in collagen, gelatin, and amino acids like glutamine, which help seal and soothe the gut lining.
2. Joint Health – Provides building blocks (like glucosamine and chondroitin) for cartilage repair and reduced inflammation.
3. Skin, Hair & Nails – Collagen supports skin elasticity, hydration, and strong nails.
4. Detox Support – Glycine aids liver detox pathways and promotes restful sleep.
5. Immune Function – Helps reduce inflammation and supports the gut-immune axis.
6. Hydration & Mineral Balance – Natural source of magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium.

-----Why Some Commercial Bone Broths May Raise Estrogen

Not all bone broths are created equal—here's what to watch out for:

1. Bones from Conventionally Raised Animals
Animals raised with growth hormones or fed soy-based feed may carry residual estrogens or estrogen-mimicking compounds in their tissues and bones. These can leach into broth during long simmering.

2. Plastic Packaging & Linings
If broth is stored in **BPA-lined cans** or plastic containers, it can leach xenoestrogens (estrogen-like chemicals) into the broth—especially since it's hot and acidic.

3. Lack of Transparency
Many commercial brands don’t specify the source of the bones, feed quality, or how the animals were raised.

✅ What to Look for in Bone Broth

* Grass-fed, pasture-raised or organic animal sources
* No added hormones or antibiotics
* Glass jars or BPA-free packaging
* Brands that slow-simmer bones for 18–24 hours
* Or better yet—make your own!

Your Gut Was Made to Heal — Give It What It Needs 🌿

Your gut is at the core of everything—from digestion and nutrient absorption to mood and immune health. When it’s inflamed or imbalanced, you feel it everywhere.

The good news? Your gut lining can regenerate—if it’s given the right support.

Whole, nutrient-rich foods, consistent nourishment, and targeted support can help rebuild the gut barrier, reduce inflammation, and restore microbial balance.

If you're dealing with bloating, food sensitivities, or unpredictable digestion—this is your sign to start healing from the inside out.

✨ Trust your gut. Nourish your body. It knows the way.

If you're chasing symptoms and not getting answers, it's time to look at your gut.

So many chronic symptoms are rooted in gut health— even the ones you wouldn’t expect.

Your gut is home to trillions of microbes, 70–80% of your immune system, and it communicates directly with your brain and hormones. When it’s out of balance (from stress, poor diet, meds, or toxins), it can cause ripple effects throughout the body.

You might experience:
⚡ Brain fog, poor focus
🧠 Anxiety or depression
🌿 Hormonal imbalances (PMS, PCOS, thyroid issues)
😴 Fatigue and poor sleep
🛑 Constipation, bloating, or food sensitivities
🌸 Skin flare-ups like eczema or acne
🍽️ Nutrient deficiencies despite “eating healthy”

This is why I always start with the gut — because when you support digestion, detox, and the microbiome, everything else starts to shift too.

If you’re tired of managing symptoms and want to get to the root, I’m here to help.
