IT CAN BE DONE

If you want to change your body (and your energy), here are the non-negotiables:

1. Walking 8-10k steps daily with intervals—don’t waste your own time. No exceptions, bonus points if it’s outside
2. Not eating after 6pm
3. Prioritize good sleep
4. Focus on consuming 1g/1 lb of goal body weight of high quality protein
5. Lift heavy weights 3x/week
6. Eating enough at meals so that you can say no to snacks

Do these and you will be amazed at how much energy you have during the day, how much of a bada** you feel like, what a more patient and fun parent you are, and you’ll feel like your best and gorgeous self in that swim suit or cute shorts.

It was DAMAGED

When I tell you blood sugar and metabolic health were messed up, they were MESSED UP.

I would have huge jumps in blood sugar with the smallest amount of carbohydrate.

I would fall into a coma (not really, but felt like it), if I ate sugar on an empty stomach.

I couldn’t go more than 2 hours without food or I’d become very unpleasant to be around.

I had HORRIBLE PMS.

When I fixed my blood sugar issues, so much changed.

I didn’t get the afternoon/post lunch urge to nap.

I stopped having unbearable cravings for sugar and carbs.

I started sleeping better.

I stopped having to work so hard to resist sweets.

I started putting on muscle (no idea how this is related but it definitely is!)

And now when I eat carbs, such as - ahem - my birthday cake, my sugars stayed in range.

It really is life changing. And if I can do it, you can too.
