This week we were sad to learn that our former colleague Dr. Phil Ranheim has passed away. He was a vital member of Snohomish Family Medicine for many years, and a dear friend to us and to many of you. We will miss him!

After a full and wonderful life, Phil Ranheim passed away on the afternoon of August 18th. He will be remembered as a beloved physician in this community, a faithful and loving husband, father, and “Keepa”. But most of all, he’ll be remembered as a precious child of God.

With the new coronavirus in our area, many of our patients are wondering what to do. If you have a cough or fever, the best thing to do is to stay home, keep away from others, and treat yourself with fluids and Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Our doctors have been caring for the patients at Delta Rehab for 50 years. Delta has taken in some of the most challenging patients with neurologic conditions such as severe brain injury, MS, Huntington's, and more. The staff at Delta have provided innovative care unlike any other nursing facility, and we are sad to see the end of a great era.

After years of financial challenges, the family-run Delta Rehabilitation Center is preparing to close its doors.
