Our Internet service provider will be performing scheduled maintenance on the fiber internet network equipment that supports the County Complex offices, including the County Manager, Finance, Tax, Water Billing, Planning and Inspections, Library, Health Department, DSS, and EMS Station 1.

This work involves servicing core infrastructure to ensure continued reliability and system performance. The maintenance window is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025. During this time, Internet service for both phones and computers in these facilities will be unavailable for an estimated 30 to 45 minutes.

At the request of the Greene County Boys and Girls Club, we are proud to share the call for nominations for the annual Community Recognition Dinner and Silent Auction, which will be held on October 2, 2025, at the Greene County Community Center.

This event is an opportunity to honor the individuals in our community who are making a meaningful and lasting impact. We strongly encourage community members to submit nominations. Your voice ensures that those who quietly serve, lead, and inspire are recognized for their efforts.

Award Categories Include:

Service to Youth Award
For individuals or teams making a lasting difference in the lives of young people through mentorship, education, leadership, or community service.

For women in business or leadership who live or work in Greene County and have demonstrated measurable community impact.

Young Professional of the Year
