I am back from the mountains of West Virginia and Ohio, where my maternal lineage lies with more family recently mourned. This first week back has been a chaotic experience with more than one birthday, and a friend's wedding sadly missed. Though, this morning I took the time to slow down; and sleep in, to ground and get back to my small daily rituals and I feel a little more myself again.
