Members of our Behavioral Health team recently had the opportunity to attend the On Our Own of Maryland, Inc. (OOOMD) conference at the Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort in Ocean City.

This year’s theme focused on honoring authentic voices, igniting individual power, and strengthening collective impact to influence the policies and systems that affect our lives. OOOMD continues to lead important statewide advocacy and education efforts that promote equality, justice, autonomy, and choice for individuals with mental health and substance use needs.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and bring back valuable insight that will continue to strengthen the work we do in our community every day!

To learn more about any of our programs, check out our website at WorcesterHealth.org or give us a call at (410)632-1100.
