Occupational Therapy helps people of all ages participate in the ✨occupations of life✨: the meaningful activities that make up our everyday routines and roles, like playing, learning, working, self-care, parenting, and enjoying hobbies.
Our Occupational Therapists support both pediatric and adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings at Cogdell Memorial Hospital and Clinics. For children, occupational therapy can help build the skills needed for school, play, fine motor development, self-regulation, and independence in daily activities. For adults, occupational therapy helps restore function, improve safety, and promote independence after injury, illness, surgery, or other challenges that affect daily life.
We’re also excited to offer our pelvic floor therapy program led by Tiffany who is certified in this specialty. Pelvic floor therapy can support patients dealing with pain, dysfunction, weakness, or other concerns that affect comfort, confidence, and quality of life.
At the heart of Occupational Therapy is one simple goal: helping people do the things that matter most to them. We’re proud of the compassionate work our OT team does every day to help patients live with greater independence, function, and confidence.
Thank you for choosing a field that has such a large impact on our community and for choosing to share your gifts with all of us. 💚
