Changes and Transitions
Twenty-two years ago, Golden Light Healing was born from a shared vision. None of us could have imagined that our little corner of Sobieski, Wisconsin would one day welcome international presenters and participants from around the world. It has been a true joy to help nurture and grow the spiritual community here in Northeast Wisconsin.
In the Peruvian tradition, we speak of “pachas”—the cycles of life we each move through. Dave and I are now stepping into our next pacha: retirement! With full hearts, we share that we are passing the torch of Golden Light Healing to its new owner, Tiffany Dorton, beginning February 2nd.
Tiffany has trained with me and my teachers, and she has spent the past year mentoring with Dave and me to ensure she can continue offering the workshops, trainings, experiences—and yes, the meals!—that you’ve come to love at GLH.
Tiffany will continue all of the workshops Dave and I have taught, and our guest presenters will also be returning with their offerings. We hope the transition will feel seamless, and we appreciate your patience as we shift everything over. For those already registered for 2026 workshops—rest assured, you are all set. Golden Light Healing’s email will remain the same: info@goldenlighthealing.net. The new phone number beginning February 2 is 920-428-0588.

Dave and I want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has been part of Golden Light Healing’s journey over the past 22 years. It has been an honor to work with you, sit in ceremony with you, and travel the world alongside so many of you.
As we step into our next pacha, we look forward to more time with family and our new grand babies, moments of rest both here and in Belize, and continued adventures exploring this big, beautiful world.

To the beautiful community that Amy and Dave have developed over the past 20 years, I am honored to be able to continue to walk this path forward with you while keeping their legacy alive. I fully dedicate my future to serving each and every one of you by continuing to fill your life with magic, love, connection, community, teachings, and amazing food!
I want to first thank you for your dedication to your openness to learning and curiosity. Even more, I want to thank you for your dedication and bravery to following where your soul leads you to so that you may remember who you are at your very essence. The work you do has profound healing for the world which is needed more than ever right now.
My name is Tiffany Dorton. I have worked within the healthcare field for 20 years. I started working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, went back to school to become a Registered Nurse, and then went back a third time for my Masters of Science Degree with a focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am a very left brained individual by training, and still am skeptical at times, just like most. When I worked as a Registered Nurse, I started to see the spiritual aspects and knew that we were missing some incredible healing opportunities within the healthcare field. While working in the ICU I was introduced to oracle cards, witnessed many patients pleading with a higher power to not call them home just yet, witnessed the power of prayer during life saving procedures, witnessed the power in giving permission to those who were being called home, and even experienced tapping into my intuition by knowing if a patient was going to "code" and need CPR.
I have been working in the spiritual realm for the past 10 years and have worked with many healers and teachers. My very first spiritual experience was with Access Bars, an energy healing modality where various points on the head are touched. When I came out of that session the energy was moving so fast that I had to lay on the table for another 45 minutes. I had never experienced anything like that before. Even more so, the message and who came through brought me profound healing and that's when I was able to forgive and see that the hurt that was placed upon me was not because of me, but because of the hurt the other person felt and didn't know how to work through. At that time I knew that the world had to be filled with more wounded individuals who needed healing in ways that not many people in the healthcare field, let alone the world, would understand. My journey would only unfold more from here.
In 2023, I began studying with Amy and completed her Whispers on the Wind (WOW) program. I remember very clearly sitting in the dining hall with my allyu members. I told them at least once during each of those 4 directions that "If Amy ever decides not to do this, I'm taking it over." I also told Amy in 2024 after a Shamanic Healing session, that if she ever stopped teaching WOW that I would be happy to help her out. My soul knew what it was doing, but to be honest I never thought much of myself as being a manifestor! Looking back now, I have to laugh, as Amy says, "you can't make this s*** up." I have not only studied with Amy and participated in her courses, but I have also continued studying with Jose Luis Herrera and have been blessed to be able to take multiple pilgrimages to Peru. This journey has truly been life changing and I truly want to keep the magic of all that has been created alive!
I thank you for your continued support and walking with me as I enter into this new pacha. While Amy and Dave will not be present, their presence will always be with us. I am honored that our paths have crossed and am beyond excited to continue to do this work with you, helping you to Dream, Explore, Discover and Grow!
