Our theme for activities this week is Hot Cocoa and it is a topic we have really enjoyed celebrating! On Monday we had donuts and hot cocoa while we watched “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”, and today we made Hot Cocoa Mug Cakes in the microwave. They were delicious, especially when topped with a little caramel sauce!

The residents at Heritage of Soda had an incredible Christmas because of the generous, giving spirit of so many community members. Thank you to everyone that shared their musical talents, participated in our adopt-a-grandparent program, provided gifts for each resident, brought treats, took the time to visit, and gave in any other manner. It was a truly special Christmas because of each and everyone of you. I am in awe of this amazing community! Thank You!!!

All of the resident and staff would like to offer a huge Thank You to the two boys and their moms that donated donuts and popcorn mix to everyone here at Heritage. We are sorry your Christmas parties were canceled at school, but so appreciative you thought to share your goodies with us. Your generosity brought many smiles to both the residents and the staff!
