Marriage is one of God’s holiest gifts—and one of the greatest weapons for thriving through the storms of life, even something as devastating as a cancer diagnosis.

The reality is this: childhood cancer doesn’t just affect the child diagnosed. It rocks families to their core. Statistics show that illness often strains marriages to the breaking point. But I believe the opposite is possible.

When your child is sick, the emotional toll can feel unbearable—not just for them, but for you, their siblings, and your entire family. Fear creeps in at night. Stress shows up in short tempers or sleeplessness. Siblings often feel overlooked, and parents carry guilt for not being “enough” for everyone.
