It's been a very happy holiday season at La Vida Del Mar! 🎄

This December has been full of sweet moments. We loved welcoming the Daisy Girl Scouts for songs and handmade cards, and it was such a treat to have Santa stop by.

We balanced the fun of our hot cocoa board with our exercise Advent calendar and got creative, making custom wreaths. Participating in the SRG Senior Living company-wide holiday door decorating contest and hosting our Home for the Holidays event made the season feel complete. We hope your day is filled with joy and those you love! 🎅❤️

LVDM's staff and neighbors took turns strutting down the runway for our annual Ugly Sweater tradition. It is the one day of the year when the "ugliest" outfit wins the most applause! 📸✨

Our fitness instructor led the group through the "Advent Fitness" routine, following the specific exercises mapped out for the season. It was a solid session focused on keeping mobile and maintaining strength amidst the holiday busyness. Simple consistency sure pays off. 👟

Our driver Chuck captured this beautiful moment when Mr. Jim finally came home. ❤️

He had been away in skilled nursing recovering from a fall, and his wife, Mrs. Jane, was absolutely thrilled to have him back. These two are truly inseparable. They met at the beach years ago, have been married for 67 years, and raised two lovely daughters together. Witnessing their reunion was such a special gift!

The holiday spirit arrived a little early thanks to the Daisy Girl Scouts! 🌼

The troop visited us to sing holiday songs and hand out cards they made themselves. The girls didn't just perform, though. They pulled up chairs to work on crafts alongside our residents! It was such a sweet reminder of how much joy the younger generation brings.

We are officially checking off every holiday tradition on the list! 🎄

La Vida Del Mar has been incredibly busy lately. We spent time crafting custom wreaths and warming up at the hot cocoa bar. Then, Santa made a special stop to take photos with our residents (and a few four-legged friends!).

We are also finding unique ways to stay moving with our "Exercise Advent Calendar" to balance out the seasonal sweets. It has been a super festive and very active start to our month!
