He specializes in Active Release Techniques® ART® an advanced soft tissue system that elite and professional athletes know for its fast and effective help with sports injuries and performance care. Cory cares for soft tissue injuries and with ART® he treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART®. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they often result from injury to over-used muscles. Cory Harris BA, CMT, ART is a native to San Diego and has his Kinesiology degree from Point Loma Nazarene University, his Certified Massage License and is certified in ART® for the upper extremity, spine, lower extremity and in long tract nerve entrapments. His interest in muscle mechanics, management and rehabilitation ignites his interest for sports, particularly the NFL, NBA and MLB. As an athlete himself, he understands the unique demands and challenges that are put on the body, thus, his passion is to help people heal and perform at the highest level.

The pros are coming through already! They're done with the 2.4 mile swim and are flying off their bikes after 112 miles. Many of them are limping and struggling to keep a high paced time. They're bolting into the 26.2 miles of running right now like these pros😰 haven't even mentioned the humidity here

Ive been seeing this Limited Hip extension issue with many of the athletes who prepared so hard for the Boston Marathon tomorrow!! These athletes often show limited hip extension since the psoas tends to become tight and shortened after extended periods of time training for such an event like this. The re**us fem and iliacus might also be restricted with many of the ones i've seen at least and if they are then,.. the low back pain is present, the hamstring fatigue will be there and your quads might be strained.. Thus, after treating these three core muscles and others involved in the kinetic chain, these athletes do much much better! Thats bc they can get their hips extended! What a concept!!!! Good luck everyone tomorrow!
