Just like nature, we go through seasons within ourselves. Spring is a time of renewal, but it can also bring up anger and resentment that have been buried for too long.

In this video, I am raising awareness about anger and sharing a few quick tips to help you discharge and cope with it in healthy ways.

Do you ever hear yourself saying, I’m not angry?

Unexpressed anger does not just disappear. It lingers in the body, creating tension, stress, and even physical symptoms. Just like you take care of your kids or your cat if you have one, your anger needs attention too.

It is not something to suppress or ignore. It is a signal from your body that something needs to be acknowledged and released.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to join my free meditation session on Monday at 4pm PST/7pm EST. We will gently explore how to move through anger and other emotions with compassion, release what no longer serves us, and step into this new season feeling lighter and more at peace.

This ski trip wasn’t in my plans. But after an unexpected life shift in Jan, I found myself at a crossroads—sit it out, or push myself to do something uncomfortable.

I chose to go.

At first skiing solo felt uncomfortable. The experience was different, unfamiliar. But then something shifted.

I took a lesson. I pushed through some tough moments. And by the end, I had a realization that I actually enjoy skiing alone. There’s a freedom in it. A confidence that comes from knowing you can handle things on your own.

As we get older, it’s easy to let unexpected life changes take us down, to let them destroy our confidence or mire us in grief. But the real secret to overcoming midlife upsets?

KEEP SAYING YES TO YOURSELF.
Keep doing things that scare you. Keep proving that you’re capable of more than you think.

Today I’m squeezing in a few more solo runs before heading home. Because growth doesn’t come from staying comfortable. It comes from choosing adventure—again and again.

✨What’s something outside your comfort zone that you’re saying yes to this year? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to cheer you on!

Ok, this is a controversial one...well, kinda!

Is alcohol really helping you unwind? Or is it actually harming you?

That evening glass of wine might feel like a little piece of heaven in a complicated world, but have you ever stopped to ask yourself if it’s truly serving you? I know this may sound difficult, but what do you think about ditching the wine and/or other forms of alcohol for even just for a week?

Here’s why:
💡 Even small amounts of alcohol can increase daily anxiety, especially for menopausal and perimenopausal women.
💡 Alcohol acts as a neurotoxin, which can disrupt your healing journey and drain your energy.
💡 There's so much research showing the negative impact of alcohol on the female body, especially during midlife. (We already have enough issues… let’s not add to them.)

Instead of reaching for wine, try a non-alcoholic beverage in a fancy glass to keep the ritual while skipping the toxins.

Try it out for a week...or more! I think you’ll be amazed by the mental clarity, reduced anxiety, and how much lighter your body feels!

Midlife is your time to rise, not shrink.

Self-love in midlife looks different; it’s softer, deeper, and so much more powerful. ❤️
🧘‍♀️ It’s listening to your body when it whispers for rest.
🌸 It’s giving yourself permission to feel and heal.
🧳 It’s saying “no” without guilt and “yes” to what truly lights you up.
🙌 It’s celebrating every step of your growth because you are not the same woman you were a decade ago. And that’s beautiful.

Midlife isn’t the end. It’s a new beginning and a chance to love yourself more fiercely than ever before.

Remember: You are worthy. You are growing. You are loved.

And if you’re ready to deepen this journey, the Midlife Meditation Club is here to guide you. Together, we’ll heal, meditate, and nurture your beautiful self.

Ladies, have you ever wondered if there’s a deeper meaning behind the symptoms of menopause?

The hot flashes, night sweats, and even brain fog aren’t just physical changes—they’re messages from your soul, calling you to step into your power and embrace this sacred phase of life.

I invite you to dive into the spiritual wisdom behind your menopause symptoms.

🔥 Hot Flashes ignite your inner fire, burning away the old to awaken your strength.

💭 Brain Fog asks you to pause, trust, and create space for new clarity.

Each symptom is a message, a guide, and a gift—helping you step into your most authentic, empowered self.

Today, I’m saying goodbye to India—a place that has held space for some of the most transformative moments of my life. Leaving is bittersweet. I’m so excited to see my sons who are still home for a few more days, but I’m also letting go of this incredible retreat experience that has felt like a cocoon of healing, growth and clarity.

And speaking of cocoons…I couldn’t help but share this incredibly beautiful butterfly I saw right outside my hut at the retreat center today. It feels like the perfect symbol for the transformation I’ve experienced at this retreat—and a reminder that letting go is a necessary step in becoming something new. (Did you know that caterpillars actually become soup before recreating themselves as a butterfly?!)

Letting go has been a recurring lesson during my time here. India has shown me how to release control, embrace the present moment, and trust that life has something better waiting when I surrender what no longer serves me.

And with the FULL MOON coming this Thurs (in Aries), it’s the perfect time to reflect on what you’re ready to let go of, too. Full Moons mark a powerful moment for release—a chance to shed the old stories, patterns, relationships and habits that no longer align with who you are becoming.

What are YOU ready to let go of as we step into 2025? Share below! I’d love to hear what you’re making space for as well.

I haven’t shared much about my journey yet, because I wanted to honor my need for silence in this process, but I’ll be posting more about this experience and the things I’ve learned in the days and weeks ahead. I hope what I’ve discovered can support you too.

Happy New Year, 2025!

Starting the year off with open arms and reflecting on the moments in most proud of from 2024–cuz let’s face it, midlife and menopause can really shake our confidence, and taking time to celebrate our wins is one of the best ways to rebuild it.
So, here it goes:

✨I’m proud of learning to ski at age 54–even though half the time I was convinced I might not make it down the mountain!

✨I’m proud of giving myself permission to live my Italian dream for 6 weeks, hiking in the Dolomites, seeing history at its finest, and eating all the food—even though I worried my life back home might crumble.

✨I’m proud of traveling solo to India for this transformational Ayurvedic retreat (still in progress)—a total leap of faith that’s already changed me in ways I can’t fully explain yet.

Truthfully, this is a little vulnerable to share. But reflecting on these moments reminds me of how far I’ve come—even when it was uncertain and even downright terrifying at times (especially down a steep slope or flying 29 hours across the globe with no guarantee there’d be anything good on the other side). 2024 reminded me that we need to get out of our comfort zones to live the life we’re called to live.

Now it’s your turn! What are you most proud of from 2024? Big or small, I’d love to hear about it in the comments (or a DM). Let’s start 2025 by honoring ourselves and each other!

And if you’d like the full list of reflection questions I put in my latest blog, DM me and I’ll send you the blog post.

Sending love out there from India!

It’s the New Moon in Capricorn day before the last day of the year. It’s the perfect time to reflect on 2024.

As the sun sets on 2024 (and my jet lag finally starts to lift) I find myself here in Kerala, India reflecting on a year that was equal parts grief and gratitude, chaos and growth, pushing past fear and experiencing incredible joy and adventure.

This New Moon feels like an invitation to let go of what no longer serves—old patterns, unnecessary stress, outdated beliefs—and step into 2025 with clarity, courage and an open heart.

This is just the start of what I’m learning here in India—I can’t wait to share more about my journey soon.

For now, I’d love to hear: What are you ready to release as we close out 2024? What are you ready to bring in?
Can you take time to celebrate how far you’ve come this year?
Just write down a list of what you’ve accomplished, completed, experienced and I bet you’ll be amazed at yourself! Try it and let me know how it goes.
