IHPC is diligently monitoring the development of Corona Virus (COVID-19) and taking all appropriate and necessary precautions for the safety and well being of our staff, patients, and community. While universal precautions are an everyday standard for us, we remain vigilant and continue to follow the CDC recommendations. IHPC has put into place the following precautions:
Posted a sign on our exterior glass doors of all IHPC facilities: Precautions for the Corona Virus (COVID-19), IHPC cares about our community, patients and our staff, so we are asking for the following precautions: If you have a cold, or flu or cold like symptoms or feel you may have a fever, please do not enter the lobby. Please contact us at 262-6454, so our staff can answer questions and provide you with some recommendations according to national, state, and local guidelines.
IHPC patient coordinators are also asking pre-screening questions regarding travel, and flu or flu like symptoms, during pre-op calls, as well as at check-in.
IHPC held a staff meeting to discuss all precautions and what to do in the event that a patient walks into the lobby with any symptoms.
IHPC has also updated our website, FaceBook page and the recommended precautions. www.independencehealthcareak.net
