• Difficulty manipulating small toys
• Difficulty with dressing, using utensils, or grooming activities (fussy with clothes, hair washing)
• Limited play skills
• Limited social interaction
• Tendency to become overwhelmed easily
• Frequent tantrums
• Avoidance of playground or motor activities with peers

Come see our physical therapists at Kenai Kids Therapy if you have concerns for your child in any of the following:
• W-sit posture in sitting, standing, climbing
• Tendency to injure ligaments and muscles
• Avoids tummy time as an infant
• Has difficulty rolling or only rolls over one side
• Seems “stiff” or “floppy”
• Tilts head to one side, avoids turning head to one side, head is flat on one side
• Skipped the crawling phase as an infant
• Frequently stumbles and/or falls
• Frequently bumps into objects or is clumsy
• Avoids movement experiences such as rolling, climbing, jumping or swinging
• Is constantly moving or moving too fast
• Shows difficulty in learning new motor skills such as skipping, riding a trike/bike or dribbling a ball
• Needs help with simple motor task such as picking up ball and carrying it up stairs to place in box
• Frequently walks on toes
• Sits or stands with poor posture
• Prefers to floor sit in a w-sit position
• Tires easily and/or struggles to keep up with peers during active play
