I wanted to take a second to explain what I’m doing and why.
When I was in elementary school and had a “puberty class” we were given a little bag with difference sized pads and some random info in it.
When one of my daughters had a similar class this last year I asked her if they had received anything after the class and she told me “one mom made the class cookies.”
Uhhhh HUH?
I understand some parents have a hard time teaching or talking to their kids about the changes your body goes through during puberty but NO child should feel embarrassed or like they can’t ask for help.
Which is why I wanted to make these period pack/survival kits for young girls from any walk of life so they can have an opportunity to feel supported in this sometimes scary new adventure their body is telling them to buckle up and grab the oh s**t handle for.
I have had a few inquiries from people just wanting to donate funds or items and that is absolutely welcome as well!
