Looking over our stats from 2025. Of the families that went to term (36wks and above) in our care only 2 cesarean sections. (Only 1 with those that started labor with us!)
78 births
8 transfers in labor (only 1 urgent)

Biggest baby of 2025 was 11lb 5oz
Smallest baby of 2025 was 5lb 1oz!

Can you believe we were having way too much fun to take pictures? So grateful for such an amazing and fantastic team. 2025 isn't quite a wrap (I think the end of the year is gonna be a whirlwind) but glad we could sneak in a lovely celebration of another year loving on moms and babies!

When you buy the "temu" version of the very expensive obstetrical complications torso and baby so you have to make a few adjustments of your own. 😂 (Im epoxy-ing the inside so its slick and more easily wipeable)

Thoughts on Homebirth Transfer by Mary Esther MalloyI’ll begin with a perspective on homebirth offered by a woman I worked with a few years ago. She said, “I am hiring a birth professional for the care I want. I hope I give birth at home, but I understand that there is a continuum of where I might give birth—home or hospital. What matters to me is that I will have my midwife with me. I think of it more as hiring a person I trust than planning a birth in my home.” Her attitude struck me as a very open place from which to enter birth. She was passionate about what she wanted (a high level of individualized care from a birth professional she trusted), and there was an ease about the birth itself.
