Kenai Peninsula Home Health LLC is looking to bring on a Full Time RN. We are looking to bring an RN onto the team who possess great work ethic who can multitask and facilitate visits in the home of the patient.
A Registered Nurse, is responsible for supporting the medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Their duties include traveling to a patient's home to administer their services and helping patients maintain their independence.
Duties & Responsibilities
*Assess and chart observations of the patient's condition at each visit.
*Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
*Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
*Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies.
*Coordinate with Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other individuals in the patient's care plan.
*Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
*Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.

A Certified Nursing Assistant, or Certified Nursing Aide, is responsible for supporting the medical staff in administering care to patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Their duties include helping patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene, ensuring they take their medication and assessing their patients' vital signs to notify staff of any changes.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
*Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs
*Helping with the patients medications
*Monitoring vitals and patients behavior and reporting them to the medical staff and nursing
*Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
*Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
