Massage therapist – Job Description
Function:
• Provides professional therapeutic massage through a variety of trained modalities to patients.
Primary objective:
• Provides consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with office protocols.
• Upholds the standards of massage therapist such as license and insurances
• Arrives on time for scheduled appointments
• Must have a genuine interest in helping clients achieve wellness
Duties and responsibilities:
• Maintain client confidentiality and sensitivity to age and gender related issues during interactions.
• Report any unusual client interactions to supervisor immediately
• Possesses the ability to work without direct supervision
• Always maintains professional appearance
• Responsible for renewing therapist licenses as directed by state law and regulations
• Responsible for caring general liability insurance coverage
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towards a quality work environment
• Must be in good physical and mental health
