I got my HTMA results back, and one of the biggest things it showed was that my body may be in more of a slowed-down, stressed, protective pattern.
Honestly, that made a lot of sense to me.
Because when you feel tired, drained, emotionally off, stuck with weight, or like your body just is not responding the way it used to, it is easy to start blaming yourself.
You wonder if you need more discipline.
More motivation.
More willpower.
But sometimes, the body is not fighting you.
Sometimes, it is protecting you the best way it knows how.
That is what I find so helpful about this kind of testing. It can give a more personalized look at mineral patterns in the body and help explain why you may feel the way you do.
For me, this was a reminder that my body is not broken.
It may just need the right support.
And I know so many women, especially in perimenopause and menopause, need to hear that.
You are not lazy.
You are not failing.
You may just need better understanding of what your body is trying to say.
