The event will feature a strolling dinner, wine, live music by Nancy Cordiel and the presentation of the prestigious 2025 Alfred Diaz-Infante Award to María Elena Manzo, Founder and Executive Director of Mujeres en Acción. Proceeds benefit grants to local nonprofits working to advance economic mobility for Monterey County’s Latino community. 🙌🙌

We had a joyful afternoon filled with laughter, juggling, clowning, and heartwarming moments thanks to the Marinelli Bros. Circus and their surprise mini show for our residents and staff. 💖

Our community felt the magic — and we’re so grateful for their generosity and spirit!

At yesterday’s budget meeting, Board Member Michael D. Schell officially submitted his resignation from the Soledad Community Health Care District Board.

We thank Mr. Schell for his years of dedicated service to the District and the Soledad community, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

We were honored to welcome Senator John Laird to the Soledad Community Health Care District today! 🏥✨ Our CEO, Ida Lopez Chan, proudly gave him a tour of our three facilities — Soledad Medical Clinic, the Women’s Health Center, and Eden Valley Care Center. The Senator took time to hear directly from our incredible employees and cherished residents, learning more about the impact of our Special District.

We’re especially thrilled that his visit coincided with Lupita’s 20-year anniversary at Soledad Medical Clinic! She was recognized with a certificate and some small tokens of appreciation for her two decades of dedicated service. Congratulations, Lupita, and thank you for your unwavering commitment!

National Doctors Day may have passed, but we’re still celebrating our incredible doctors for their hard work and dedication! Today, we honored them with a delicious and nutritious lunch catered by our friends at Luigi’s Restaurant in Gonzales.
