I had the opportunity to speak the national sales meeting for along side plastic surgeon Dr.McFate and general surgeon Dr. Hagan. It was wonderful meeting and sharing the stage with colleagues I hear so much about.

I got to catch up with the Ohio team and my rep as well as countless others whether it be at lunch, dinner, breakout sessions, or the dance floor.

I have a book of notes, cards, and letters from over the years, from patients, residents, and students. This one was left for me attached to a piece of pie by a student that recently rotated with me. This made my day 😊

I haven’t felt like I’ve been teaching enough but I’m happy to see even though I feel I’m lacking, my behaviours and how I treat others is still a lesson. If I teach nothing else because I am running place to place, having a great bedside manner, no matter the situation is one of the most important skills we can model to our students and residents. How you treat your patients, staff, nurses, etc matters.

I’m so behind on posting!

I had so many adventures this summer ☺️ I gave a dinner program national along side CMO Dr. Tettelbach in Orlando, FL

Had a refreshing beverage poolside while I caught up on family, friends, and medicine with fellow grad, former student, now resident

I capped off the night hanging out with some residents and students including the quiz bowl champion 🥳

The best part of this trip? It was jam packed with teaching, catching up with old friends, meeting new people, great food, and I was back home within 24 hours!
