Check in on your student athlete. Make sure they are doing ok. The current sports landscape is challenging to navigate, constantly being compared to others and being ranked and discussed as a number. Not many programs have procedures established to adequately monitor mental health. Su***de is now the second-leading cause of death in this population, behind accidents. Let’s join together to take care of our kids.
