If your days feel like a blur of alarms, charting, and “I’ll deal with me later”…

You’re not alone.

But here’s the thing—you’re allowed to slow down.

You’re allowed to take your time back, piece by piece.

Even in the middle of the madness.

This week, don’t wait for a break that may never come.

Create it.

Even if it’s 5 minutes in your car, 10 seconds to breathe, or 15 minutes of silence after work.

And if you need someone in your corner to help you remember how to show up for YOU again...

☕ Let’s chat.

Nurse life doesn’t exactly come with built-in balance.

You’ve got 12-hour shifts that turn into 14, patients who need everything at once, charting that never ends, and somehow you’re expected to “rest and recharge” before doing it all over again?

Here’s the truth no one tells us in nursing school:

⏳ It’s not your time that runs out first.

⚡ It’s your energy.

You can still have hours left in the day, but feel too drained to use them.

Too spent to go to the gym.

Too fried to cook dinner.

Too numb to laugh at a show, cuddle with your dog, or even enjoy a simple moment with your partner.

Sound familiar?

It’s not laziness. It’s burnout.

And it doesn’t get better by just “managing your time better.”

You have to protect your energy with the same intensity you give to your patients.

This is your reminder:

You’re allowed to rest.

You’re allowed to create boundaries.

You’re allowed to come first.

And if you’re not sure how to even start doing that?

☕ Let’s chat. Hop on a coffee chat with me (no pressure, just real talk). I’ve been there. I get it. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

DM me “coffee” and I’ll send you the link to book 💖

If you’ve been feeling like you’re running on fumes… this might be why. 😞

A dysregulated nervous system isn’t just about stress—it’s when your body forgets how to feel safe. And for nurses? That’s way more common than you think.

You’re constantly giving, responding, moving from one task (or crisis) to the next. No time to eat, breathe, or just be.

This isn’t just burnout. It’s your body screaming for regulation, safety, and care.

You’re not weak. You’re not broken. You’ve just been in survival mode for too long.

And you don’t have to stay there.

If this list hit home, let’s talk. I support nurses in healing from the inside out—emotionally, physically, and neurologically.

Hop on a free clarity call and let’s figure out what support looks like for you.

You deserve to feel calm, present, and like yourself again. 🫶🏼

Nurses are helpers by nature — which makes saying "no" feel unnatural, even when you're on the edge of burnout.

But boundaries aren't rejection. They're protection.

For your peace, your energy, and your mental health.

So the next time someone pushes your limit, drains your cup, or piles on another “favour” like you’re not already stretched thin…

Try one of these lines.

You don’t need to explain, over-apologise, or convince anyone.

You just need to choose you.

Saying “I’m not available for that right now” isn’t rude.

It’s revolutionary — especially in a profession that teaches us to always say yes.

Let’s normalise nurses setting limits.

Let’s normalise rest and self-respect.

Because when you honour your boundaries, you don’t just protect your energy — you model what it means to care without losing yourself in the process. 💛

Some days you feel like a full-blown skeleton with glitter wings just tryin’ to make it through 😂🦴✨

But even when you’re running on empty, you still show up with a smile, crack a joke, and somehow lift everyone else up.
That kind of heart? Can’t be taught. 💖

If no one’s told you lately—you’re doing amazing. For real.

You give so much of yourself to everyone else—your patients, your coworkers, your family—until there’s nothing left in the tank. Sound familiar?

Energy isn’t just about how much sleep you got or how many cups of coffee you’ve had (though let’s be honest, we’re all on a first-name basis with the breakroom Keurig). It’s your most precious resource. And if you're not protecting it like gold, you're gonna feel like you're running on fumes more days than not.

As nurses, we’re trained to push through. To keep showing up, no matter how drained we feel. But here's the truth: constantly pouring from an empty cup doesn’t make you a better nurse. It makes you a burned-out one.

Protecting your energy means setting boundaries. Saying no without guilt. Taking 5 minutes to breathe instead of scrolling. Choosing rest over hustle when your body is begging for it. You don’t need to earn your rest—it’s your right.

Your energy is what powers your compassion, your focus, your ability to be present with your patients and with yourself. You deserve to feel good in your body, clear in your mind, and lit up by your life—not just surviving another shift.

If you're ready to learn how to actually protect your energy and bring some balance back into your life, I’ve got something for you. Let’s chat 💬

You know what I wish someone told me sooner?

That the things we believe about nursing often hurt us more than the job itself.

Like believing your needs come last.

Or that being exhausted is just what good nurses do.

No wonder so many nurses feel like they’re drowning quietly while pretending they’re fine.

I was that nurse too.

But the truth is—nobody’s coming to save us from burnout.

We have to start saving ourselves by shifting those beliefs, one by one.

It doesn’t have to be big or dramatic.

It can start with a simple conversation.

If you’re ready for that, I’m here.

Hop on a free clarity call—link’s in bio or DM me “CALL.”

You’re exhausted.

But… is it just tired?

Or is it burnout creeping in quietly?

As nurses, we’ve learned to normalize the grind.

Long shifts? Part of the job.

No time to p*e? Comes with the territory.

Emotionally drained? Well... that's just healthcare, right?

But here’s the thing most of us don’t want to admit (I know, I’ve been there)...

There’s a big difference between being tired and being burnt out.

And the scary part?

Burnout doesn’t always show up waving red flags.

It whispers.

It hides in the everyday chaos.

👉 Here are a few **subtle signs of burnout** nurses ignore all the time:

💡 You feel numb, even when you *should* feel something.

💡 You’re irritated by small things that never used to bother you.

💡 You wake up dreading the day, not just from exhaustion, but from a deep “I can’t do this anymore” place.

💡 You stop caring about the things you used to love outside of work.

💡 You can’t switch your brain off... even on your day off.

These aren’t just “normal stress.”

They’re survival mode.

And nurses deserve better than survival mode.

The truth is—burnout is sneaky.

It tricks you into thinking *you* are the problem.

That *you* just need to get it together.

That *you* should be able to handle it.

You are NOT the problem.

The system is broken.

And no—you don’t have to lose yourself in it.

In my world, I teach nurses how to spot these signs early, how to create space to breathe again, and how to rebuild your work life without losing your soul in the process.

Because the world needs your heart... but you can’t pour from an empty one.

❤️ Can I ask—have you noticed any of these creeping up on you lately?

Let’s make this a safe space.

You’re not alone if you say yes.

That moment when a patient says “you look tired” and you're like…
👀 “Oh don’t worry, I’ve just been stress-caffeinated since 6am and emotionally spiraling since 2019.”
Normalize nurses looking tired because we're saving lives and holding in our rage simultaneously 😂
If that’s you… it might be time to take care of you too.

Shout-out to my client Cindy🩵

When we started, she was:
– Crying in her car before AND after work
– Popping out of bed in panic- I do mean JOLTING up out of bed
– Snapping at her partner and children but couldn’t explain why
– Always exhausted but never resting

We didn’t just slap on a gratitude list and call it healing.

We got honest. We slowed her nervous system.

We gave her permission to pause — and tools to actually do it.

Now?
– She sleeps through the night
– Sets boundaries without guilt
– Feels joy again — real joy

She didn’t “fix” herself.
She stopped living like her worth depended on being exhausted.

If you’re where Cindy was…you don’t have to stay there.

Let’s get this straight:
Stress management isn’t just about bubble baths and candles.

It’s about:
✅ Saying no without spiraling
✅ Building real recovery into your day
✅ Getting your body and mind out of survival mode
✅ Not carrying everyone else’s weight

Surface-level “self-care” won’t fix what boundaries and nervous system work actually heal.

You can’t yoga your way out of a 60-hour week and zero support.

But you can build something better.
Comment "BETTER" if you’re ready to learn how 💬

I look so happy here don't I?? (Don't lie I know I do)

I used to think stress had to “look” a certain way.
The nurses who were always behind, they were constantly panicking, crying, or falling apart.

I would show concern and give them encouragement because I have always been a Girls Girl... Yet I didn't reflect on what was really happening to me at the same time!

I WAS STRESSED TOO

But mine looked like:
✨ Quietly snapping at people I loved
✨ Laying in bed, completely wired but beyond exhausted
✨ Not enjoying things I used to love
✨ Dreading one more “what’s for dinner”

Just a slow simmer that never stopped.
Until I finally asked: “What if this isn’t just life? What if this is burnout?”

And more importantly what kind of BS life had I created for myself... That isn't who I wanted to be... so what if I didn’t have to stay here??

That was all I needed to start exploring a different life. It was that simple, a decision.

If this sounds like you, I promise you’re not broken.
You’re carrying too much, for too long, with no real rest.
You don’t need a vacation.

You need a stress system recovery and boundaries that stick.

DM me “STRESS” if you want to start feeling like yourself again 💛
