🎄Holiday Gift Certificate Update🎄

As of today, I am booking into late March with VERY limited spots available. My schedule is open through April at the moment, and I will be taking some time off this summer, so I’ll be offering a limited number of gift certificates this season. They will be first-come, first-serve, and once I hit the limit, I’ll pause sales.

I will be out of the office December 19th–28th for the holiday. If you would like a physical gift certificate, it must be purchased before this time.

I will have physical gift certificates outside my office door until December 18th.

I’ve used her smaller wrap since I opened in 2022, and the quality is unmatched. She created an even larger version exclusively for me to use on my clients, and I cannot wait to start incorporating it into sessions.

Three years ago, I took a leap and opened my business, River Bend Massage Therapy, in a small town where I didn’t know a single person.

No network. No built-in clientele. No guarantees.

Just a room, a table, a whole lot of determination and a belief that if I showed up with care, the right people would find me.

Since then…

I went from zero clients to being booked several months in advance with a waiting list.
I built a business on trust, referrals, and the most loyal clients.
I became a mom and learned to balance motherhood + entrepreneurship
I found community in a place that used to feel unfamiliar and now feels like home.

What started as a risk became a dream I get to live every day.

Snag your spot before they’re gone — appointments tend to fill quickly!

Friendly reminders:

• 100% payment is required at the time of online booking.
• New clients must use a valid credit card to book their first session.
• Established clients with a card already on file who prefer to pay with cash may text me at 715-204-9001 with your preferred dates and times. I’ll do my best to hold your spot, but online booking is the fastest way to secure an appointment.
• Gift certificate holders: If you have trouble booking online, text 715-204-9001 or email me with your preferred date and time, and I will manually book it for you.

Scars can hold and "store" old pain.

Scar tissue tends to form a crisscross pattern, making the tissue less flexible like normal tissue. When you have a surgery or an injury, our bodies heal by laying down a "patch job" of collagen fibers. Over time, scar tissue can stick to surrounding muscles, fascia and even organs.

How does massage help with scar tissue?

A gentle, targeted approach to these areas can help break up these adhesions by bringing oxygen and nutrients to the tissue since this tissue has poor blood flow. Loosening scar tissue allows muscles and fascia to glide again, improving range of motion.

💥Extra fun fact💥
Even tiny scars can have a big impact. For example, an old ankle surgery scar might subtly change your gait, which then leads to hip or back pain years later. Clients often notice they can move more freely after scar work, even if the scar itself seems small.
