WooHoo ....Happy Election Day .....As the Grandchild of Immigrants I consider it an honor and a privilege to vote & live in this county.....
My grandparents gave up everything they had to come to a strange new world, a world of opportunity...and even though they were not treated very well and told where they could live and work...they were able to rise above and become very successful High School & College graduates, Entrepreneurs, businessmen and women, Doctors, Lawyers and property owners, something they, their children & grandchildren would have never been afforded the opportunity to become if they did sacrifice and come to America 🇺🇸. I am thankful every day for the sacrifices my ancestors made so I could be an American ...

I had an out of body experience during dinner today at my mother's house ...She started to tell us about her visit to her cardiologist and how when she told her how she can't sleep and that everything hurt and I quote "she told me to get some gumbies"....well I knew I had slipped into an alternate universe at that point so I asked her "you mean GUMMIES with Ma*****na" She said yes .....that her Doctor told her to get some THC gummies and try them because so many of her patients use them and swear by them.....Smh I am officially my mother's plug ....

Reclaiming your SAFETY as a Domestic Violence Survivor is extremely difficult. The emotional suffering doesn't always end when the relationship does. As a DV Survivor myself I was unable to relax, unable to sleep, unable to feel secure in my surroundings, due to the years of physical, emotional & financial abuse I suffered at the hands of my ex-boyfriend/business partner. I lived in fear & shame......Justice, my personal protection German Shepard changed all that. I have other pet dogs, but Justice is different, & is there beside me with a purpose and job that he takes very serious .....I can now relax, sleep soundly & feel secure & most of all empowered by my new best friend ......a priceless luxury that had been stolen from me.......Justice got it back....
