Today we paid tribute to our dear friend, Rita "Fajita". Warren Alves, our Vice President of the Resident Council, had the kitchen make Rita's favorite, chow mein sandwich in her memory. No matter where Rita went she always had a smile on her face and made friends with everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her.

The Annual Clifton Family Fun Carnival exceeded expectations, proving to be an unforgettable experience despite the lackluster weather. Guests enjoyed popcorn, hotdogs, cotton candy, slushies, and live music performed by Lou Couto. The younger attendees had a blast participating in games, earning fantastic prizes, and enjoying face painting, tattoos, and balloon animals designed by Christine. The carnival provided a welcome opportunity for residents, family, and staff to come together and enjoy each other's company.

Aggie was part of our Clifton family for several years and passed away recently. She would sit in this corner everyday and loved to listen to music. She especially enjoyed listening to Christmas music, Bing Crosby and her favorite, Frank Sinatra. She often said "Music makes me smile". This will forever remain "Aggies Corner".

As temperatures rose 🌡, our residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves outside on the patio, participating in a sq**rt gun 🔫/ water balloon fight 💦with the activity staff. We also enjoyed slushies while outside to stay cool and refreshed. At the same time, Mel was inside serving rainbow sherbet. Just another fun day here at Clifton!

In celebration of the Day of Portugal 🇵🇹, Clifton hosted a Portuguese-themed luncheon today. Residents enjoyed a culinary experience featuring chourico and pepper sandwiches, Caldo Verde (Portuguese Kale soup), Massa Sovada (sweet bread), and Pasteis de Nata (Portuguese custard tarts) for dessert, leaving everyone satisfied. They also enjoyed live entertainment.

Yesterday, our residents went on a tropical family vacation 📸, with entertainment provided by Billy Veader 🎶. They indulged in delicious pina colada cake 🍰 and tropical mocktails 🍹. Our staff also enjoyed a nice breakfast buffet. A great day was had by all!
