Today, we want to give a special shoutout to our administrator, Peter, at Somerset Ridge Center! 🎉

Peter is more than an administrator — he’s a leader who gets involved, supports his staff, and isn’t afraid to have a little fun along the way. From daily operations to keeping everyone safe during our traumatic fire incident, he’s shown incredible professionalism, calm under pressure, and dedication to both residents and staff.

He’s been through a lot bringing the building back to good standing, and through it all, he continues to lift spirits, offer support, and make Somerset Ridge a welcoming, caring place.

Thank you, Peter, for your heart, leadership, and the joy you bring to our community every day! 💙

🦆Today our residents enjoyed a very special guest — Dawn the 🦆Duck! Dawn waddled through the halls bringing smiles, laughter, and lots of gentle “quacks.” Animal therapy visits like this bring comfort, spark memories, and brighten everyone’s day.

After an incredible journey that began when Somerset Ridge first opened its doors in 1999, we recently celebrated the well-deserved retirement of our amazing Activities Director, Ann Marie who officially retired on 12/31/25.

For over two decades, she poured her whole heart into our residents—creating joy, laughter, connection, and memories that will last forever. She showed up every single day with a smile, endless energy, and a genuine love for the people she served. Her dedication never wavered, and her compassion set the standard for what true resident-centered care looks like.

She was not only extraordinary to our residents but also an incredible leader and mentor—always supportive, kind, and uplifting to her staff. Somerset Ridge is better because of her, and her impact will be felt for many years to come.

We were honored to surprise her with a fun retirement party surrounded by love, laughter, and the support of her family, who joined us to celebrate this beautiful milestone. 💕🎉

Thank you Ann Marie Anunciacao for 26 years of unwavering dedication, for the joy you brought into our building, and for leaving a legacy that can never be replaced. You will be deeply missed, but we are so excited for you as you begin this next chapter.
