We would like to recognize two of our medical crew members for their outstanding achievements.

Paramedic Joey received a coin of excellence for his exceptional service during the tornado in May, where he assisted ground crews in London and coordinated PHI aircraft support for the disaster area.

Paramedic Annah earned her 100 flight wings, a testament to her dedication and hard work in completing numerous patient flights at the base.

Here at PHI 7, we have profound respect for the courage and commitment required to dedicate one's life to the service and protection of others. We are proud to employ 7 Veterans at our base. We are sincerely grateful for the sacrifices made by all Americans who have served in the Armed Forces. We strive to demonstrate our appreciation for our veterans daily, acknowledging the immense debt of gratitude owed to them by our base and country. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of our employees, including their military service, are a vital asset to our team. Thank you guys for not only your service but all you do each day for our base!

Today, PHI 7 participated in the HOT expo at The Center for Rural Development, where our crews had the opportunity to share their expertise and skills with hundreds of students from central Kentucky. Students engaged in hands-on activities, including intubation, butterfly ultrasound, and ventilator use, and toured the 309PH aircraft to gain insight into critical care transport. We recognize the importance of sharing our passion for providing access to healthcare and educating future healthcare professionals about career opportunities in their communities. As many of our crew members are local, they shared personal perspectives on how their roles impact their communities and loved ones.
We believe that creating such experiences for high school students is crucial and invite teachers and professors to contact PHI 7 to arrange a visit to our base for one-on-one interactions with our crews and aircraft.
